Fluorite (in Czech, fluorite) is a cubic mineral consisting of calcium fluoride, CaF2. The author of its Czech and Slovak name is Jan Svatopluk Presl. It most often forms crystals in the shape of a cube or a cluster of crystals with multiple faces. Fluorite is mined all over the world and is often found near granite deposits. Fluorite is a crystal endowed with protective power. It will help you recognize when foreign influences are trying to manifest themselves in your inner being. The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver.
