Vermarine is a rarer variety of quartz, similar to Amethyst or Rose Quartz. It is associated with harmony, inner peace, and a heightened awareness of one's own emotions. Its green color symbolically evokes nature, growth, renewal, and vital energy. It is traditionally believed to foster a balance between reason and emotion and to help maintain composure during times of change. Symbolically, Vermarine represents the journey from the old to the new—undertaken with a calm heart and free from paralyzing fear.

The jewelry setting is handcrafted from surgical steel, using a tin-silver alloy for the joinery. Maintenance is similar to that of silver: occasional polishing is recommended. The more the piece is worn, the better, as friction against clothing or the wearer's skin provides natural polishing. The metal is durable and free of nickel and heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn continuously, even in water, though it is advisable to dry it off afterward and polish it more frequently. It hangs on a braided cotton cord secured with an adjustable sliding knot.
