Seraphinite is a rare mineral from the chlorite group and can be found only in one place in the world - in Yakutsk, Russia, around Lake Baikal. The name of the stone is derived from the word "seraphim", which means the highest class of angels. The pattern and reflections on the stone resemble angel wings and feathers. In Siberia, where seraphinite is found, this stone is still considered a sacred gift of Mother Earth.
