Labradorite is a mineral from the feldspar group that is formed by the slow cooling of magma deep in the earth's crust. At first glance, it seems inconspicuous, but only when light hits it does it reveal its typical labradorescence - a unique play of blue, green, gold or purple reflections that seem to emerge from its interior. This optical phenomenon is created by the refraction of light on the fine structures inside the crystal and makes each piece a complete original. Labradorite was first described on the Canadian Labrador Peninsula, but today it is also mined in Madagascar, Finland, Ukraine and other parts of the world.
In the esoteric tradition, labradorite is considered a stone of intuition, transformation and inner strength. It is associated with protection from negative influences and support of mental balance. It helps to develop imagination, strengthens trust in one's own intuition and makes it easier to cope with life changes. It is called the stone of discoverers and people who are not afraid to take a new path.
The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but then it is good to dry it and treat it more often. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
