Jewelry with fossilized coral and a motif of Common Wormwood.

4.5 x 2 cm

Common Wormwood is an ancient herb with a bitter aroma that people have used since ancient times to cleanse the body and spirit, against worms, evil forces and death. In the Middle Ages, it was placed in coffins, hung above doors and burned during rituals as protection against witches and spirits. In folk magic, it symbolizes transition, purification and defense - both physical and spiritual.

The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but then it is good to dry it and treat it more often. The jewelry is suspended from a braided, cotton cord and secured with a magnifying knot.
