Labradorite is a fascinating mineral from the feldspar group, known for its unique optical effect called labradorescence. When light hits its surface, radiant reflections in shades of blue, green, gold or purple appear. It was first discovered in the 18th century on the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, after which it got its name. However, it is also found in other places in the world, for example in Madagascar, Finland or Norway.
In esoteric tradition, labradorite is considered a stone of transformation, intuition and protection. It is said to help reveal hidden potential, support trust in one's own inner guidance and facilitate coping with life's changes. It is associated with the development of creativity, imagination and spiritual perception. Many believe that it creates a protective energy shield that helps protect against negative environmental influences and at the same time strengthens inner balance. Thanks to its mysterious reflections, labradorite is often perceived as a stone that reminds us that even in times of change, new light and new possibilities can be discovered.
The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but then it is good to dry it and treat it more often. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
