Pendant with Cobalt Calcite.
3 x 2 cm
Cobalt Calcite is a rare variety of calcite, which acquires its characteristic pink to deep purple color due to the presence of cobalt in the crystal structure. It is most often formed in hydrothermal veins, where hot mineral solutions penetrate rocks for a long time and gradually deposit individual layers of minerals. Its crystals often appear in the cavities of ore deposits together with other minerals and, thanks to its delicate color, pearly luster and crystalline shape, it is one of the sought-after collector minerals.
In the esoteric tradition, cobalt calcite is associated primarily with the heart area, tenderness and emotional balance. It is often described as a stone of compassion, kindness and openness, which supports the ability to receive and give love. Its soft pink energy is associated with healing emotional wounds, releasing old pain and returning to joy, trust and inner harmony. It reminds us that sensitivity is not a weakness, but a natural part of human strength.
The jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on clothes, the wearer's skin, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly, even in water, but it is good to dry it afterwards and treat it more often. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
