Ravenna
Jewelry with Rubellite and Raven's Claw.
5 x 2 cm
Rubellite, a deep pink to red variety of tourmaline, is formed during a long geological process in mineral-rich pegmatites. It is valued for its intense color and extraordinary durability. Its vibrant shades remind of the strength of the heart, passion and life energy. The Raven's Claw, carefully crafted from steel wire and tin, refers to the raven - a bird associated with wisdom, transformation and the ability to see beyond the boundaries of the ordinary world.
In the esoteric tradition, rubellite is considered a stone of love, courage and life force. It supports an open heart, helps overcome fear and gives energy to follow one's dreams. It is associated with inner stability, perseverance and the ability to find light even in difficult periods of life.
In combination with the raven's claw motif, rubellite acquires even deeper symbolism. Since ancient times, the raven has been a guide to change, a bearer of intuition and a symbol of protection and wisdom. Its claws represent a firm grip on what is truly important - courage, truth and one's own direction. The rubellite placed in its grip symbolizes a heart protected by wisdom and the strength that comes from the connection of emotions with prudence.
The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but it is good to dry it and treat it more often afterwards. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
