Moonstone is a mineral from the feldspar group, which is characterized by a typical pearlescent shine called adularescence. In the geological sense, it occurs in deeper igneous rocks, where layers of orthoclase and albite alternate. It is this layering that causes the refraction of light, which creates subtle blue-white to silvery flashes on its surface.
In esoteric interpretation, moonstone is perceived as a symbol of intuition and inner perception. Traditionally, it is associated with the energy of the Moon, the feminine principle and emotional balance. It is worn as a stone that is supposed to support peace in times of change and uncertainty. In its smoothly polished form, it has a subtle and unobtrusive effect in jewelry, which supports its symbolism of softness and sensitivity. Many cultures attributed to it the ability to strengthen dreams and open subconscious perceptions. It is also associated with protection on journeys and with the support of new beginnings. In modern esotericism, it is often perceived as a stone of balance between emotions and reason.
The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. Jewelry can be worn constantly and even in water, but then it is good to dry it and treat it more often.
