Chalcedony is a fine-grained variety of quartz that is formed by the deposition of silica solutions in the cavities of rocks. Purple-colored chalcedony is relatively rare and gets its color due to trace mineral impurities and specific conditions of formation. Purple chalcedony deposits are found, for example, in Namibia, Brazil, Turkey or India.

In esotericism, purple chalcedony is associated with peace, spiritual harmony and the development of intuition. It is traditionally seen as a stone that helps to quiet the mind, relieve stress and promote kind communication. Its purple color is associated with the crown chakra and spiritual knowledge, while the properties of chalcedony in general are associated with balance, patience and inner peace. The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver.
