Cobaltocalcite is a delicate stone with a pink-purple to raspberry color, which is associated with deep healing of the heart and emotions. It supports the release of old wounds that are held in the area of feelings, and helps open space for compassion for oneself and others. It is perceived as a stone of tenderness, which teaches gentleness in communication and perception of one's own boundaries without harshness. Its energy is calm, but penetrating - it leads a person to accept one's own vulnerability as strength. It is often used in relationship work, especially where there is a need to forgive or let go of a painful past. It promotes inner harmony and the feeling that emotions can flow freely without suppression.
Cobaltocalcite is a variant of calcite that contains an admixture of cobalt, which causes its characteristic pink to purple color. It belongs to the group of carbonate minerals and is formed in hydrothermal veins, often together with other copper and cobalt minerals. It occurs in small crystalline aggregates or fine-grained masses. The most famous deposits are in Africa, especially in Morocco and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where it is mined as a collector's mineral. It is valued primarily for its aesthetic color and interesting mineralogical origin.
The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. Jewelry can be worn all the time, even in water, but it is a good idea to dry it afterwards and care for it more often.
