Raw epidote is a sorosilicate mineral, distinguished by its green color. It forms primarily through the transformation of rocks under heat and pressure and is a common component of metamorphic rocks, often found alongside minerals such as quartz, feldspar, or amphibole. Its green hues are largely due to its iron content, which also determines its characteristic coloration. Uncut epidote retains its natural structure, offering a more raw, organic aesthetic than perfectly faceted stones—a quality that underscores its connection to natural processes. As a universal symbol, the heart represents love, emotion, devotion, and deep interpersonal bonds. In esoteric traditions, epidote is associated with growth, renewal, and the ability to consciously shape what one brings into their life. Its green color naturally evokes the heart, life energy, and a connection to nature. Combining epidote with the heart symbol creates a motif of love that is not passive but grows through care, experience, and reciprocity. Here, the heart represents not only romance but also openness, personal growth, and the capacity to protect what truly matters.

The piece is handcrafted from surgical steel, using a tin-silver alloy for the joints. Maintenance is similar to that of silver—occasional polishing is recommended. Frequent wear is actually beneficial, as the piece polishes itself through contact with clothing and the wearer's skin. The metal is durable and free of nickel and heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly, even in water; however, it is advisable to dry it off afterwards and care for it more frequently. The piece is suspended on a braided cotton cord and secured with an adjustable sliding knot.
