Labradorite is a feldspar mineral belonging to the plagioclase group, best known for its distinctive labradorescence—an optical phenomenon where flashes of blue, green, gold, or sometimes even purple appear on its surface. This effect arises from the mineral's fine internal structure, which scatters and reflects light. Labradorite forms primarily in igneous rocks, and its name refers to Labrador, Canada, where it was notably discovered.

Its shifting appearance has led the esoteric community to regard it as a stone of transformation, intuition, and hidden potential. Labradorite is traditionally associated with periods of change—times when old certainties no longer suffice and one enters a new stage of life. Its power is not ostentatious; much like its colors, it reveals itself fully only in the right light.

Symbolically, labradorite is also linked to protection, inner peace, and attunement to one's intuition. It serves as a reminder that not everything essential is visible at first glance. A whole world of color may lie hidden beneath a dark surface—just as a person may harbor abilities and possibilities that only emerge when given the space to do so.

The piece is handcrafted from surgical steel, using a tin-silver alloy for the connecting elements. It requires care similar to silver jewelry—occasional polishing. The more the piece is worn, the better; it polishes itself through contact with clothing, the wearer's skin, and so on. The metal is durable and contains neither nickel nor heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly, even in water; however, it is advisable to dry it off afterwards and care for it more frequently. The piece is suspended on a braided cotton cord and secured with an adjustable sliding knot.
