Moss agate is a variety of chalcedony, a fine-grained form of quartz that is formed by the gradual deposition of silica from mineral-rich solutions. However, its characteristic green patterns resembling moss, twigs or small plants are not fossilized mosses - they are mainly created by inclusions of minerals, especially manganese and iron oxides. These patterns were formed slowly during the geological development of the stone, and each piece is therefore unique.

In the esoteric tradition, moss agate is associated with nature, growth, renewal and inner peace. It is perceived as a stone of patience, stability and new beginnings. Its green patterns resemble roots, forest and living landscape, symbolically connecting man with the earth and the natural rhythm of life.

The color green has long been a symbol of life, fertility and renewal. Moss agate carries this meaning very naturally – like a small piece of landscape hidden inside a stone. It reminds us that growth does not have to be fast; just as its pattern was created over a long period of time, a person also needs time to take root and grow stronger.

The structure of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but then it is good to dry it and treat it more often. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
