When Zanhunde and Garnet are combined in one piece of jewelry, a combination with a strong, deep energy is created. Both stones have a darker, earthy character, but each has a different effect. Zanhunde is a dark-colored variety of quartz, whose smoky shades are created by the natural action of radioactivity in rocks. The colors range from soft gray-brown to almost black. Zanhunde is often found in pegmatites and granite massifs and is valued for its clarity and mysterious appearance. Garnet is not one mineral, but a whole group of stones. In jewelry, pyrope is best known – a dark red garnet, which is also typical of Czech deposits. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while.
