Prehnite is a soft-green mineral belonging to the phyllosilicate group. It is characterized by translucent shades ranging from light pistachio to a deeper green, often forming distinctive spherical or grape-like clusters. It primarily forms within cavities and fissures in volcanic rocks, where minerals are gradually deposited from hot solutions. Its soft, sometimes almost waxy luster evokes the light caught within young leaves, lending it an inherently tranquil appearance.

In esoteric symbolism, Prehnite is associated with inner peace, intuition, compassion, and harmony. It is viewed as a stone that fosters a connection between the intellect and one’s inner voice, serving as a reminder of the importance of caring for both oneself and one’s surroundings. Its green color signifies renewal, growth, and the natural rhythm of life.

The piece is handcrafted using surgical-grade steel, with a tin-silver alloy used for the connecting elements. It requires care similar to that of silver—occasional polishing is recommended. In fact, the more the piece is worn, the better; it naturally polishes itself through contact with clothing, the wearer’s skin, and so on. The metal is durable and free from nickel or heavy metals. These pieces can be worn constantly, even in water; however, it is advisable to dry them afterward and polish them more frequently. The pendant hangs on a braided cotton cord, secured with an adjustable sliding knot.
