Garnet is a mineral that is formed deep in the earth's crust under high temperatures and pressures. In esoteric tradition, garnet is associated with life energy, courage, passion and inner fire - with what helps a person to persevere, even if the path is not easy.

The waning crescent moon, i.e. the waning phase, symbolizes the completion, release and postponement of what no longer serves. It is a time of turning attention inward, silence and preparation for a new beginning. The raven on the crescent deepens this motif. In many traditions, the raven is associated with mystery, wisdom, transformation and the ability to see even what remains hidden. Its presence on the waning Moon acts as a guardian of the threshold between what is ending and what is yet to come.

The combination of a raven, a receding crescent and a garnet creates a piece of jewelry with the power of transformation. The moon represents leaving and release, the raven the wisdom gained from the past and the garnet the heat that remains within. Together they remind us that something new can only be created when we can let go of the old.

The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on the clothes, the skin of the wearer, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly and in water, but it is good to dry it and treat it more often afterwards. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
