Lapis lazuli is a rare blue rock that has fascinated humanity for more than six thousand years. The oldest and most important deposits are in Badakhshan, Afghanistan, from where the stone was transported to ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and Europe via trade routes. Its characteristic deep blue color is created by the mineral lazurite, while the golden dots of pyrite resemble stars in the night sky. In the Middle Ages, lapis lazuli was also used to produce ultramarine pigment, one of the most valuable blue dyes of its time. It is still valued as an ornamental stone symbolizing wisdom, truth and spiritual knowledge.

In the esoteric tradition, lapis lazuli is considered a stone of wisdom, intuition and inner truth. It is primarily associated with the throat and third eye chakras, which it is supposed to help support open communication, self-expression and deeper insight into one's own thoughts. Traditionally, it is believed to bring peace of mind, strengthen intuition and help harmony between reason and emotions. Many people also see it as a protective stone that supports self-confidence and helps on the path of personal growth.

The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while.
