The total length of the stick is 17 cm, with the usable hair-inserting section measuring 12.5 cm. It is suitable for use in both regular hair and dreadlocks.

Moonstone is a variety of feldspar known for its subtle adularescence—a milky to bluish light that seems to shimmer beneath the surface as the stone moves. This effect is created by fine internal structures within the mineral that scatter incoming light. Its appearance naturally evokes the image of moonlight captured within the stone.

In esoteric traditions, it is associated with intuition, sensitivity, inner peace, and natural life cycles. It is viewed as a stone that symbolically connects to emotions, the inner self, and the ability to listen to one's inner voice; it is a stone linked to the feminine principle.

The piece is handcrafted from surgical steel, using a tin-silver alloy for the joinery. Maintenance is similar to that of silver—occasional polishing is recommended. However, the more the piece is worn, the better, as friction against clothing or the wearer's skin provides natural polishing. The metal is durable and free of nickel and heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn continuously, even in water, though it is advisable to dry it off and polish it more frequently in such cases.
